about lost minds
Lost Minds is a small mac shareware developer run by me, Lars Gäfvert in my spare time with occasional help from other people. The group was started in 1998 and has been active off and on since then.
Early titles included the first version of Blobs and a tron-game called TRON-ish, both written in a language called Future Basic. Eventually Mac OS X came along and I moved over to carbon with later versions of Blobs, a new game called AstroSquid and a hexeditor called heXXor. AstroSquid was quite successful and was published as a part of the "Ten for X" games bundle by Aladdin Systems.
After AstroSquid I abandoned FutureBasic for Mac OS Xs' native objective-c and cocoa. In a collaboration with Ambrosia Software I then created the game SketchFighter 4000 Alpha in 2006, causing quite a buzz in the gaming community.
After all the games I've now released a vector graphics utility called Vectoraster.
