Changes and improvements

• Running animations are now paused on save to avoid potential interference with save process.
• Fixed issues with importing Vectoraster 7 legacy files with invalid font settings.
• Improved handling of possible errors saving files.

A little surprise update after a couple of years of calm for the game. The big new addition is a new Challenges mode, unlocked after reaching a certain level, when you can test your mastery of the different game mechanics by playing slightly modified versions of the game with different rules or goals.

Changes and improvements:

• Added new Challenges game mode. 8 new challenges to complete to show your mastery of the different game mechanics.
• Added more combo multiplier tiles.
• In Stressful mode excess vlob count is now added to the time limit on level up.
• Added new color blindness option to add patterns to vlobs.
• Removed online global leaderboards due low participation and lack of long term support.
• Update to Godot engine 4.7 for improved performance and compatibility.
• Fixed a couple of UI bugs.

Another Paragraphic update with mostly fixes to various bugs and under the hood improvements. It also brings some improvements like improving the usability of the Mirror Repeater node and adding a new Reverse Path node that changes the direction of a path, which can be useful when joining paths together or repeating elements along a path.

A new 1.5.0 feature update of Paragraphic has been released today. This update includes a lot of improvements and new features like a new dynamic snapping system, path symmetry and offset modifiers and mirror repeater along with a very long list of smaller fixes and improvements.

This update is another smaller update with improvements the undo/redo system with better grouping of actions and fixes to a number of undo-related issues. It also adds a new font picker panel with filtering and a list of recently used fonts to make selecting fonts easier.

This update is another smaller update with some smaller new improvements and a couple of bug fixes after the larger 1.4 feature update. The most prominent new features is that the Element position input node added in 1.4 can now also be used outside Change nodes and takes later repeater node transforms into account like the Value from layer sampling input nodes. Another addition is support for both importing and exporting WebP format images.

This update is primarily a bug fix and maintenance update after the larger 1.4 feature update. It does however add a couple of new features as well, like a new value input node to clamp a value to a specified range and improvements to working with imported svg shapes.

• Fixed issue where overwriting existing files when exporting could result in broken files in some situations.
• Fixed SVG exports using a background color with transparency being exported as a solid color instead.
• Fixed SVG exports in trial mode not getting the text warning explaining points have been removed due to trial mode.
• Fixed some minor UI panel layout issues.
• Improved handling of network issues when validating licenses.

The DNS servers of the hosting company used for the Paragraphic website paragraphic.design are currently down, apparently due to a large scale DDOS hacking attack. This has made the site unreachable the last couple of hours. The hosting company is working on it and the situation should hopefully be resolved eventually. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Update: The DNS issues affecting our hosting company seem to have been resolved now and paragraphic.design is accessible again.

The 1.3.0 feature update of Paragraphic has been released today. This update includes a lot of improvements and fixes as well as two major new features: Procedural 2D noise and color gradient features.

A new update of Paragraphic has been released. This is a smaller update to get some fixes and smaller additions out before starting work on a larger 1.3 update.

• Added Element Size X and Size Y as possible inputs for the Group Apply Function Node.
• Allow setting a manual absolute input value range in the Group Apply Function Node instead of using the automatic input range calculated based on the input elements.
• Improved format validation and error messages when entering license codes.

• Fixed Apply Function Node sometimes getting incorrect automatic input ranges due to precision errors when all elements are the same.
• Fixed drag offset of repeated and transformed layers in group layers sometimes going the wrong way.
• Fixed exported SVG files containing embedded bitmap data for hidden bitmap image layers, resulting in larger file sizes.
• Fixed missing element resizing handles for the original element in layers with multi-level repetitions.
